Charis Thorsell lives in Fort Worth, TX. She is a songwriter inspired by the western lifestyle. Charis grew up around Quarter Horses. Her father is an active Quarter Horse member and approved Quarter Horse judge. Her brother is a Quarter Horse trainer and former bull rider. Her father also raises bucking bulls for professional bull riding. Her music and lyrics reflect the experiences she has had and her love for the cowboy way of life. She values her relationship with God and her family and feels that “your relationships are the most important things in life.” Charis ties these beliefs in her songwriting messages and styles.
